Overview:

We developed an autonomous trash-collection robot integrating computer vision and motor control. The robot is designed to detect water bottles using a Raspberry-pi controlled machine learning model and pick them up using a motor-controlled arm powered by an Arduino.

My Role:

  • Led electronics and power system design and planning, ensuring hardware reliability and seamless integration with firmware.

  • Established communication between the Raspberry Pi and Arduino Uno, enabling the Pi to handle computer vision and the Uno to control the robot’s movement.
